Streamline Networks is offering a hosted VoIP communications solution to the small- and medium-size business (SMB) market throughout Massachusetts by using Natural Convergence (News - Alert) Inc.’s silhouette product.

According to the company, the hosted communications solution has been received very well by customers due to the ability to offer customers the same features, functionality and economic savings that Fortune 100 companies enjoy. The company is also educating the SMB market on the simplicity of a hosted VoIP solution.

Streamline Networks went live with the Natural Convergence silhouette software platform in Nov. 2006 and has signed more than 20 long-term contracts since then.

“It is very gratifying when you receive a referral from a customer that has been utilizing our product for less than 60 days,” said James Newman chief operating officer, Streamline Networks in a press release.

David Cork, chief executive of Natural Convergence, said in a statement, “silhouette is being embraced by competitive and emerging service providers to serve the small business market and save them time and money. We are impressed with the rapid acceptance that Streamline is experiencing with silhouette in the Boston market as it clearly validates the inherent values we bring to our customers.”
